21st Century Community Learning Centers
Congress established the 21st Century Community Learning Centers Program to award grants to rural and inner-city public schools, or consortia of such schools. The goal of which is to enable these schools to plan, implement, or expand projects that benefit the educational, health, social services, cultural and recreational needs of the community. School grants? may be used to plan, implement, or expand community learning centers.

Afterschool Alliance
Children with no place to go after school are at? risk of doing poorly in school, being victims of crime, or participating in a host of anti-social activities.? The Alliance was created to activate public awareness and promote advocacy work.
